The Association of Finnish Foundations is a joint organization that represents the interests of grant-providing foundations and funds in Finland. Its task is to improve the operating conditions for grant-providing non-profit organizations and to offer topical information and useful networks for its members.
In 1970, Foundation for Research of Natural Resources in Finland was among the total of 23 foundations and funds that established an unofficial collaborative body known as the Council of Foundations and Funds. In 2003, the Council was officially registered as the Association of Finnish Foundations. Today, the Association’s 206 members support research, art and societal development annually with half a billion euros.
